DAY OF SILENCE

The day between death and resurrection , the day that evil was confused about what really happened and realized their failure, the day the world was silent and there was a victory march in heaven.

Silence is difficult for us because it could be due to uncertainty/doubt or it could be due to complete confidence in the future. What does this day of silence signify for us? . There are facts and theories about what Jesus did this day but that is not the focus, the focus is what does this day of silence mean for us.

I believe it is a time to be ready , a time to understand the sacrifice of Jesus for weak minded souls like us and understand that His resurrection tomorrow bears greater promises for our future.

The day where we put before the Lord every single vision , dream, challenge, opportunity, weakness , defeat, pain and victory with the clear understanding that all is done for His glory and purpose. The day where we acknowledge our frailty as humans and accept the greatness of who God is through His son Jesus Christ.

Tomorrow He arises but it is today we need to be awake to the miracles and power of Jesus that He had shown through his ministry , to remove all doubts of who He is and be assured of the many promises.

“Therefore it says
Awake O sleeper
And arise from the dead
And Christ will shine on you” Ephesians 4:14b

The day of silence is the day we awake from slumber , from sin, from evil, from anger, from rejection, from disappointments, from fear, from death and believe in the coming of the resurrected Christ, pursing His passion for the lost world. When we believe in that ,without doubt , He shines upon us and through us . He leads us through the valley of death , He protects us from evil for He has already won the battle for us... yesterday.

Thus let our souls AWAKEN on this day of silence....let us ARISE FROM THE DEAD.

God bless
